Formed in 2019, Dr. Calavera is a tribute band dedicated to the music of Argentine group Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. Bringing together experienced musicians, the ensemble revisits the band's Latin fusion repertoire with an emphasis on rhythmic detail, full-band arrangements, and the collective energy of live performance.

Led by vocalists Diego Fernández and Milton Ponce, the group features guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, Latin percussion, and a horn section comprising trombone, trumpet, and saxophone. This instrumentation allows Dr. Calavera to explore the shifting rhythms and stylistic contrasts that define the Cadillacs' catalog, balancing fidelity to the original recordings with its own approach onstage.

Since its formation, Dr. Calavera has performed for audiences familiar with the songs and listeners discovering them for the first time. The project celebrates the enduring musical legacy of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, bringing their distinctive arrangements and Latin American musical influences to a new generation of listeners.
