Yung Bleu is a rapper, singer, and songwriter whose music moves between Southern hip-hop and melodic R&B. He began releasing music in 2013, building an audience through a run of mixtapes before connecting with Boosie Badazz’s Bad Azz Music Syndicate.

His early tracks “Miss It” and “Ice on My Baby” introduced his emotionally direct writing, but 2020’s “You’re Mines Still” marked a wider breakthrough. A remix featuring Drake reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and brought his Love Scars project to a larger audience.

Bleu followed with his debut album Moon Boy (2021), featuring collaborations with Kehlani, H.E.R., Big Sean, and Chris Brown. His subsequent releases include Tantra (2022), Love Scars II (2023), and Jeremy (2024). Across these records, his sound pairs conversational rap verses with sung hooks, exploring relationships, vulnerability, and the complications of love with an unmistakably Southern melodic sensibility.
